Throughout the year, all industries
enter periods of peak demand and it is vital that your communications
equipment is working to its full capacity. Whether your business is
mining, retail, hospitality, manufacturing or wine making; production
down time during peak periods, or indeed any time, due to communication
failure is NOT an option!!
Many companies have regular
maintenance programs for mechanical equipment and are not aware this
approach should also be adopted for two way radios and repeater
infrastructure. There are many components in radio systems which have
to be tuned to work together. Over time subtle variances can occur
which may result in reduced performance. Performing regular
preventative maintenance at least annually can ensure equipment is
working to it’s optimum, and reduce the probability of a complete
communications failure.
Companies make significant investments in
communications infrastructure and all too often we are called in to fix
equipment that has failed due to lack of maintenance. It costs the
customer in lost productivity, frustrated staff and the costs of call
outs. By far our most common fault is simply battery backup failure
when the customer most needs it – In the middle of Australia’s
inevitable power blackouts each summer.
For organisations where network and communication downtime must be avoided we offer a number of 8x5 or 24x7 Programmed Maintenance / System Support agreements.
